Designers Statement:
"There's nothing more beautiful than wearing the elegance of the ocean around your neck."  This enchanting sentiment captures the heart and inspiration behind each radiant  piece of LZD.  Found objects from nature are ever changing which keep my design inspiration flowing.  Turning ideas into masterpieces has always been a passion of mine. When I design each piece I want it to encompass a timeless meaning as well as a fashion forward presence. My work radiates beauty, tranquility and craftsmanship.

Lisa Zipperer has been a designer for three decades focusing on her clients demands for her creativity. Her style uniquely balances her feminine influences and reflects her fascination of found objects and shells procured from the coastal waters of the Lowcountry.  With a heightened demand for her designs, Lisa has increasingly produced commissioned bodies of work that intimately reflect not only her inspirations but also the interest and passion of her clients.

Lisa Zipperer Designs (LZD) happened overnight but not by circumstance. Lisa, a Savannah native and owner and operator of LZD has always had a passion for design. Growing up she designed and custom made her own clothes. "I was always blown away by her creativity and the way she would put together clothes and jewelry.  It is only fitting that she has turned that passion into a fulfilling career." –Kelly Marshall.

Lisa attended Bauder Fashion University where she focused and studied her passions, fashion and Interior Design. LZD took off in the spring of 2011, turning her garage into a studio, she spent countless hours putting together innovative ideas for a new jewelry line. She wanted it to represent her heritage of growing up on the water, and also wanted to incorporate found objects and shells which would become part of her designs. LZD has been featured in The Savannah Magazine, The South Magazine, 2012 Issues of Paula Deen's Magazine and many more publications to follow. "I love buying Lisa's jewelry because all of her designs are unique and have the coastal feel! LZD is chic and elegant, but not ostentatious like so many other non-local brands. Women can wear the same LZD necklace to an oyster roast one night, and then to the Telfair Ball the next!" –TJ Hillard.

Her designs have been spotted on celebrities and multiple red carpets which include Christies of New York, Giuliana Rancic and Paula Deen. "I just love Lisa's jewelry! I adore how she takes the ordinary and makes extraordinary!!!" –Paula Deen.

Lisa is so grateful and most humbled for this second chapter in her life, especially with creating a Godly home for her two energetic teenage boys, Chris, age 16, and Carey, age 13, and focusing on her love of design. There have been a lot of long hours, hard work, and perseverance but with that have come wonderful new friendships and many blessings, for which she is most grateful.
